River Valley Walk - Dr. Dwayne Donald

Come join a walk through the Edmonton River Valley led by Dr. Dwayne Donald. This is a walk organized for the student, faculty and staff of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH is comprised of Law, Education, Business, Arts).
Dr. Donald is a descendant of the amiskwaciwiyiniwak (Beaver Hills people) and works as a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta. His work focuses on ways in which Indigenous wisdom traditions can expand and enhance our understandings of curriculum and pedagogy. Dr. Donald teaches in the Faculty of Education and holds a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Reimagining Teacher Education With Indigenous Wisdom Traditions.
